Xmas Prezzie delight!

Finally went through my Xmas prezzie bags that I had 'stored' away to sort later and forgot I got these great nail polishes!

Some amazing colours! Its the 'Painted Lady' collection from Umberto Giannini. Strong colours not that washed out look. Will upload samples over the next few days!

 

Also...

The last week been having some fun decorating iPhone covers. Made all the wee cabochons myself with fimo and molds and then using hotfix gems :) anything to keep me busy after work. Cant sit still without fidgeting with something. Not sure what to do with them. In the middle of trying to sort out a little business idea with all my ideas. In between that and full time hairdressing sounds like a challenge :) bring it on..

 



No More Neglect!!

Happy 2013 Everyone!

 

Soo..I just found this blog again realising that I started it with good intentions then neglected it for over a year! :( so my new year resolution is to keep this blog posting as much as possible (At least once a week) with all my random nails, makeup, hair and customised accessories!!

 

Soo to start 2013 off heres some 3D sculpted nails I have had great fun doing! You can literally create anything on nails now no limits!! All pictures are work I have done myself unless otherwise stated :)

I used: NSI Purely Pink Masque and Radiant White Acrylic Powders for the skin and eyeball colours. I then just used ordinary paint to colour the eye blue with the pupil and blood vessels. I then coated the eyeball with a gel overlay to give it a more realistic 'wet' effect i then used nail art pens for the eyeliner and cluster eyelashes to finish it off.

This was actually real lace encapsulated in Gel then once cured I sculpted the acrylic flower on top and added some gems :)

Heey just a wee hello now Ive started this blog...gonna use it to show all my nails that I've been doing..mainly the glue on nails but a few acrylics as well..Also I've been selling them on Folksy so if you like what you see you can buy a set :) If theres any ideas you would like to see even personolised ones send me a comment and I would be happy to design them :)
